Our Story
Allison Heating & Plumbing was established in November 1961 by John Allison, a qualified plumbing and heating engineer with a simple vision — to look after the people of North Norfolk with honest, expert workmanship. In 1963 he took on his first apprentice, beginning a lifelong belief in passing the trade to the next generation.
More than six decades on, the business is still run by the Allison family. John's son Michael and son-in-law Simon are directors, with daughters Sharon and Jackie running the office and showroom. From our Old Station Way home in Holt we cover heating, plumbing, bathrooms and renewable energy for homes and businesses across the region.

Our Heritage

John takes on his first apprentice — passing the trade on.
The business grows through a key working partnership.
Among the very first firms in Norfolk to install solar.
The Holt site becomes the company's permanent home.
